Joy that lasts

 Joy is not the absence of pain, it’s the presence of God.  Don’t let your joy be circumstantial or based on something that you can lose or that can change. Cling to God’s promises to find joy that lasts. What's a goodpromise to cling to? How about this one from revelation 21:6 "He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.
